Winners of the 2011-12 Prism Awards were announced at a gala banquet on 25 January 2012 during SPIE Photonics West. Awards were presented by industry leaders in nine categories for photonics products that are poised to change the future of our industry.

The Prism Awards for Photonics Innovation is an international competition recognizing cutting-edge products that break conventional ideas and solve problems through photonics. In 2010 the growing award ceremony also created quite a buzz within the photonics community.
