Congratulations 2019 Winners
SPIE and Photonics Media would thank to thank all our applicants. The team reviewed a broad range of products from companies both large and small. To quote one of our judges, “this was an exceptional year of exceptional products”.
11th Year of the Prism Awards
The Prism Award program is celebrating 11 years of recognizing products that are changing our lives for the better. Past finalists range from small startups (TAG Optics) to large multi-national corporations (OSRAM). Winners include small tech transfer accelerators (ALPhANOV) to global conglomerates (General Electric).
Prism recognizes particularly outstanding examples of the imaginative range and innovation reach of photonics R&D. We are grateful to help move the development of laser, illumination, scanning, and other technologies into the applications used in everything from your phone to automobile.
The 2019 winners were announced on Wednesday 6 February 2019. The Prism Awards ceremony is held annually in San Francisco during SPIE Photonics West.
