Since 2008, SPIE, along with media partner Photonics Media, has presented awards to companies and individuals that are creating products that make a difference, solve problems, and improve life through photonics. We are grateful to help move the development of laser, illumination, scanning, and other technologies into the applications used in everything from your phone to automobile.

Prism Award Judges
This group of expert judges will devote many hours to review more than 150 applications for design and technology; novelty and innovation; need, market opportunity, and impact. Two rounds of scoring, expert external judging, and a final review will highlight the top 3 finalists in 9 categories.
